This research was done to analyse and to classify the types of student’s error in using subject pronouns. Besides, the purpose of the study was to find out some error in using subject pronouns. The method of this research was qualitative. The research was designed in a descriptive qualitative. Furthermore, the sample of this research was the tenth grade students of SMA Negeri 18 Kabupaten Tangerang of Science 1 class which consisted of 47 students, because four of the students were absent, the writer took 43 students as the sample. The data were collected through a test and interviews of both students and English teacher. The result of the error analysis process showed that students committed error into three types: misformation, addition, and omission. From the frequency of each errror types, misformation was the error which most frequently produced by the students. From 43 students, it took 19 of the total errors from 9 students or in percentage is 49%. Moreover, 13 errors fell into addition from 6 students or in percentage is 33% and 7 errors of omission from 5 students or percentage is 18%. Besides, the source of error named interlingual transfer was the most frequent source of error of the students with the total is 26 from 11 students or in percentage is 49% and intralingual transfer with the total is 13 from 6 students or in percentage is 33%. It can be concluded that the most students at the tenth grade of SMA Negeri 18 Kabupaten Tangerang have not mastered yet in using subject pronouns.
