<note>Researcher into the use of letterland technique to improve student’s
vocabulary has found positive results and effect. The aim of this research was
to know whether there was a significant effect of Letterland technique to
improve student’s vocabulary in SD Penerus Bangsa Kota Tangerang
academic year 2020/2021. This research was quantitative method as a PreExperimental and the design of the research with pre-test and post-test. The
researcher to collect the data used students’ tests. The test in experiment used
multiple choice. The data was analyzed by mean, standard deviations, and
Wilcoxon sign rank test. Based on the Wilcoxon Test know the asump value
SIG (2-Tailed) is 0,0001<0,05, that can be concluded that are positive effects
in using letterland technique to improving students vocabulary on fourth
grade of SD Penerus Bangsa Kota Tangerang. The conclusion of the research
are there was a significant of improvement using letterland technique on
Fourth Grade of SD Penerus Bangsa Kota Tangerang and the hypothesis data
was tested Wilcoxon Test, can be concluded that Ha was accepted and Ho
was rejected. It means ad significant effect of pre-test and post-test using
letterland technique. And the suggestions for the student’s in learning English
are the student’s must practicing speaking, writing, vocabulary as a much a
possible. Because, once again it is said that no matter and how to be smart
and mastering the language, no matter how much vocabulary do you have,
you will not be able to practice the language fluently without frequent
practice.</note>
