<note>This research was conducted to find out the effect of using comic strip to improve
students’ reading comprehension. The research was done at SMK Teknologi Pilar
Bangsa. The method of this research is quantitative method using pre experimental
research with one group pre-test and post-test design. The researcher took one class
which is X MM 2 as the sample. The researcher chose X MM 2 that consist 30
students which taught a narrative text by using comic strip. The researcher used a
multiple choice to collect the data. The data was collected by conducting pre-test
and post-test. The data analysis showed that the value of Sig (2-tailed) was 0.000 <
0.05. It can be concluded that the working hypothesis (Ha) is accepted while the
null hypothesis (Ho) is rejected. It means that there is significant effect of using
Comic Strip to improve students’ reading comprehension at SMK Teknologi Pilar
Bangsa.</note>
