This study aims to analyze students who have consumptive behavior in online shopping which has implications for lifestyle and motivation to study in Tangerang City. The analysis technique used is descriptive with a qualitative method approach. The results of this study indicate that consumptive behavior occurs in shopping for students at the Syekh-Yusuf Tangerang Islamic University, Tangerang Muhammadiyah University, Raharja University. Based on the results of interviews that have been conducted by researchers, there is a consumptive behavior in online shopping by students and lecturers from each campus. This makes the lifestyle and learning motivation increase because the factors of a consumptive lifestyle have been achieved. The advice that can be given in this study is that efforts are needed to control oneself in consumptive behavior so that excessive online shopping does not occur so as to make learning more focused and conducive
