This research aims to examine the effect of Quizizz application to improve students' writing skill at the tenth grade of SMAN 3 Kabupaten Tangerang in academic 2022/2023. The research method used in this research is quantitative research with the design of quasi-experimental research. The population of this research is students at the tenth grade of SMAN 3 Kabupaten Tangerang in academic 2022/2023 and the sample are 10 IPS 1 as experiment class and 10 IPS 2 as control class. Data was collected by giving pretest, posttest and questionnaire. Instruments were analyzed by a validity and reliability test. Analysis of the data used normality test and homogeneity test. The hypothesis data was tested using Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test. The result of this research, there was a significant difference between pretest and posttest scores. This shows that the Quizizz application has an effect on the writing skills of tenth grade of SMAN 3 Kabupaten Tangeran in academic year 2022/2023.
