This research is conducted to find out how students write in English sentence with the correct words and grammar accordance to the English rules, then how do students reading skills in with a correct and good understanding. The purpose of this research was to determine whether there was a relationship between writing skills and reading skills of the tenth grade students of SMA Perintis 1 Sepatan - Tangerang in academic year 2022/2023. The sample used was 15 students from a total of 49 existing tenth grade students by carrying out writing and reading test. The researcher used quantitative correlation method. The results of this research show that relation between writing skills and reading skills are not significant show for 95% confidence or 5% alpha. The same thing can be seen from the results of the sig (2-tailed) value which is greater than 0.05, namely 0.073. This shows that the results of good writing skills do not necessarily show good reading skills, and vice versa.
