The objective of this research was to find out the effect of using Graphic Organizers (GOs) technique on students’ reading comprehension at eleventh grade of SMAN 5 Kabupaten Tangerang. Type of this research was quantitative research with focused in one class that is quasi-experimental design. The total population in eleventh grade are 382 students. The researcher used purposive sampling to choose the sample, and the sample in experiment class there are 36 students. The experiment class is XI MIPA 2 which taught by Graphic Organizers (GOs) technique. To collect the data the researcher used test those werre pre-test and post-test, using Liliefors formula to test the normality data, and used OneWay Anova formula to test the homogeneity. The result of this research showed that score of reading comprehension after given this technique of graphic organizers (GOs) was good, because the mean value in post-test was 58,42, and the mean of pre-test was 65,97. In brief, it can be concluded that Graphic Organizers (GOs) technique have a positive effect in teaching reading achievement.
