Key word: Reading habit, Reading comprehension, Explanation text The purpose of this research was to find out the correlation between students’ reading habit and students’ reading comprehension in explanation text at the eleventh grade of SMKN 2 Kabupaten Tangerang in academic year 2020/2021. The method of this research is descriptive quantitative research with survey and multiple-choice tests. The sample in this research was 63 students which taken by probability sampling; sample random sampling to collect the data of the students in eleventh grade of SMKN 2 Kabupaten Tangerang in academic year 2020/2021. The data of students were collected by using questioner and test. The instruments of this research were used questionnaires and test. The data is analyzed by using Person Correlate and the result of this research is -0.365. it means the result of r-xy (-0,365) is higher than r- table (0,246). So, it can be concluded that there is negative correlation between students’ reading habit and students’ reading comprehension at the eleventh grade of SMKN 2 Kabupaten Tangerang in academic year 2020/2021.
