SMAN 9 Tangerang in Academic Year 2020/2021.” Mini thesis, English Language 
Education,  Faculty  of  Teacher  Training  and  Education,  Universitas  Islam 
Syekh-Yusuf Tangerang.
The  aim  of  this  study  was  to  find  out  whether  there  is  a  significant  effect  of 
implementing flipped classroom model on students‟ speaking skills at eleventh grade 
students  of  SMAN  9  Tangerang  in  academic  year  2020/2021.  This  research  used
quantitative  method,  the  number  of  the  sample  was  34  students  which  was  taken 
purposively by using quasi-experimental research with before and after design.
Free  variable  data  (X)  was  collected  through  teaching  with  flipped  classroom  and 
dependent variable (Y) was collected by giving interview  tests,  pre-test and post-test, 
to the sample of the research before and after the treatment.  The hypothesis data was 
tested using non-parametric by Wilcoxon and based on the asymptotic significance, 
the value was 0.000 < 0.05 which means that Ha is accepted and H
o
is rejected, it was 
known that there is a significance influence of implementing flipped classroom model 
in order to develop the students speaking skills.
Therefore,  it  can  be  concluded  that  there  is  a  positive  effect  of  flipped  classroom 
model on eleventh grader‟s students of SMAN 9 Tangerang.
