Smartphone is an advanced handphone which provides computer-like feature. Android is one of its easy, operable operational system that is also flexible to build and develop unlimited application. Light controller using an internet connection is one example utilization of the android operating system. This controller uses draft control in which microcontroller arduino sends logic data 1(ON) or 0(OFF) to relay through output pin of arduino and to the web server via ESP8266. Moreover, android application with java prograamming is set up to control the relay thru the web server of a network in android smartphone. By this light controller using the internet, the user can easily turn on or off the light from distance even by under 10 seconds delay after the command is proceeded in android application.
