The effect of using video dubbing to improve students’ speaking skill at eleventh grade of SMAN 5 Kabupaten Tangerang academic year of 2020/2021
The aim of this research was to know whether there is a significant effect
of using video dubbing on students’ speaking skill after applying video dubbing
media of students at the eleventh grade of SMAN 5 Kabupaten Tangerang. This
research is quantitative method, 36 students as the sample which taken nonrandom
by using pre-experimental research one group pretest-posttest design, using
Liliefors formula to test the normality data and using Levene to test the
homogeneity. Students’ test was used by the researcher to collect the data.
Hypothesis data was tested using the t-test formula, it is known that between the
pre-test and post-test scores in speaking skills were obtained <
(52,915 > 2,032) with sig = 0,000 < 0,05, so it can be concluded that Ho is
rejected and Ha is accepted it means there is significant difference used video
dubbing on students’ speaking skill after applying video dubbing media of
students at the eleventh grade of SMAN 5 Kabupaten Tangerang.
