The use of mobile application “Anak Kosakata Bahasa Inggris” to improve learning english vocabulary at the fourth-grade students of SD Budi Luhur Kota Tangerang in academic year of 2020/2021
Studies into the use of mobile applications (apps) for language learning have found positive
results on language improvement and learner engagement. The aim of this research was to
know whether there was a significant the Use of Mobile Application “Anak Kosakata Bahasa
Inggris” To Improve Learning English Vocabulary at The Fourth-Grade Students of Sd Budi
Luhur Kota Tangerang in Academic Year of 2020/2021. This research was quantitative
method, 20 students as the sample which taken non-random by using quasi-experimental
research one-group pre-test post-test design. In collecting the data, the writer used students
tests. The hypotheses data so Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected. Otherwise, if Asymp. Sig (2
tailed) is higher than 0,05, so Ha is rejected and Ho is accepted. It is known the Asymp. Sig
(2 tailed) of the pre-test and post-test data above was 0.001 less than < 0,05. It can be
concluded that Ha was accepted and Ho was rejected. It means there was significant and has
a positive effect between pre-test and post-test using “Anak Kosakata Bahasa Inggris”
application on Vocabulary at the fourth grade of SD Budi Luhur Kota Tangerang. Therefore,
“Anak KosaKata Bahasa Inggris” application can improve in teaching the students
Vocabulary at the fourth grade of SD Budi Luhur Kota Tangerang.
