Rancang bangun alat monitoring air payau salinitas pada tambak budidaya udang vaname berbasis internet of things
Brackish water aquaculture is conducted along the coastal areas, specifically in
Kronjo, focusing on vannamei shrimp farming, which faces several issues related
to water quality. These issues include high water temperature, unstable pH levels,
and irregular salinity, all of which can affect the survival and growth of vannamei
shrimp. The design of a brackish water quality monitoring tool is proposed as a
solution for shrimp farms, utilizing IoT-based systems to enhance the efficiency and
accuracy of monitoring temperature, pH, and salinity levels, as well as to
automatically stabilize salinity. This system is expected to address conventional
challenges in shrimp farming and improve production outcomes. The prototyping
method allows for the rapid development of both software and hardware through
the creation and evaluation of the monitoring tool. This approach facilitates
interaction between developers and clients, enabling direct feedback for both
software and hardware systems, such as Arduino. The design of the IoT-based
brackish water monitoring tool with temperature, pH, and salinity sensors
successfully meets the objectives of water quality evaluation. The tool demonstrates
effective performance in regulating pond conditions and automatically sending
notifications via WhatsApp. Testing indicates that the system is effective in detecting
and responding to changes in water parameters. The IoT-based brackish water
monitoring system successfully integrates temperature, pH, and TDS sensors with
the Wemos D1-R1, providing real-time monitoring and WhatsApp notifications.
This system effectively facilitates the supervision of brackish water quality
