Multimedia impact of the animated film on improving student's speaking skill at eleventh grade of SMAN 18 Kabupaten Tangerang in academic year 2022/2023
The aim of this study was to find out whether there is a significant effect
of implementing animated film on students’ speaking skill at eleventh grade
students of SMAN 18 Kabupaten Tangerang in Academic Year 2022/2023. This
study used quantitative method, using quasi-experimental research with two
classes, namely experimental class and control class. The samples used in this
study were 59 students. The data was collected by conducting pre-test and posttest. Then, the researcher used the Wilcoxon test because the data was unnormally
distributed. The result showed that the sig value is less than ∝ (0.000 < 0.05), so
the alternative hypothesis (Ha) was accepted and null hypothesis was rejected. It
can be concluded that there is a significant influence on the use of Zootopia
animated films on improving students' speaking skill.
