The effect of using movie trailer media on the tenth grade students' writing skill at SMA Negeri 13 Kabupaten Tangerang in academic yaer 2022/2023
The aim of this research was to know whether there was a significant
effect of using movie trailer media to students’ writing skill on the tenth grades
students at SMA Negeri 13 Kabupaten Tangerang. This research was use
quantitative method, 98 students as the sample which taken non random by using
quasi experimental research pre test and post-test. Students’ test was used by
researcher to collect data. The hypotheses data was tested by using Wilcoxon
Signed Rank, it was known a non parametric test to know between value in the
experimental class and control class of their writing skill got value from pre-post
experimental class is -5.971 with p value (Asymp. Sig 2 tailed) is 0.000 where it
less than critical limit of the researchwhich is 0. 05, therefore, the value of PrePost in Control class is -5.362 with p-value 0.000 this is means Ha is accaepted
and Ho was rejected. There was siginificance effect of using movie trailer media.
