The effect of using animation movie as a media to improve student's writing of narrative text at eleventh grade of SMAN 13 Kabupaten Tangerang in academic year 2020/2021
This research was conducted at SMAN 13 Kabupaten Tangerang.
The aim of this research is is to find out whether or not there is a
significant effect of using animated movies to improve students‟ writing
of the narrative text. The population of this research was the eleventh
grade of SMAN 13 Kabupaten Tangerang. The sample are 60 students of
30 IPA 1 and 30 IPA 3. This research used Quasi-Experimental. The
research data is collected through pre-test and post-test. The result of this
research was statistical calculation by Kolmogorov-Smirnov test, it is
known the significances of the pre-test and post-test in experimental class
data is 0.000 < 0.05. It can be concluded that Hₐ is accepted and Hₒ is
rejected. It means there is a significant difference using animation movie
on writing skill. Therefore, it can be concluded that there is positive
effect of using animation movieto improve students‟ writing of writing
skill at the eleventh grade of SMAN 13 Kabupaten Tangerang in
academic year 2020/2021.
