IMPROVING STUDENTS’ LISTENING COMPREHENSION BY USING PODCASTS AT THE ELEVENTH GRADE OF SMA AN-NAJAH BOGOR IN ACADEMIC YEAR 2022/2023
This study aims to find out whether students’ listening comprehension improves
when using podcasts. This study is classified as quantitative method. The data
were collected from SMA An-Najah Bogor. The population in this study were
eleventh grade students of SMA An-Najah Bogor. The sample in this study was
31 students from class 11 IPS 1. This study uses a multiple choice test as an
instrument. The data analysis technique used is one paired sample test with the
help of SPSS version 24. The conclusion of the study resulted in based on the
significance tests, it can be seen that the significance value was 0.018, because the
significance value 0.018 < 0.05. As a result, the null hypothesis was rejected and
the alternative hypothesis was accepted. Based on the result, this study shows that
podcasts can develop students’ listening comprehension of 11 IPS 1 at SMA AnNajah Bogor.
