The purpose of this study was to determine whether there was a significant influence using The Effect of Role Play Model to Improve on the Speaking Ability of Senior High School Students at the Eleventh Grade of SMAN 18 Kabupaten Tangerang In Academic Year 2019/2020. This research population the population in tenth grade students at SMAN 18 Kabupaten Tangerang in the academic year 2019/2020. The number of students in the tenth grade is 288 students. The subject of this research were 96 students, the authors used sampling to determine the sample. Free variable data (X) is collected through teaching with role play techniques and the dependent variable (Y) is collected by describing and interviewing techniques (pre-test and post-test). Data analysis using test. Based on hypothesis testing, it is known that sig (0,000) is smaller than 0.05. This shows that zero hypotension (Ho) was rejected and the hypotension study (Ha) was accepted. In other words, there is a significant influence of role playing techniques to improve students' speaking skill in the tenth grade of SMAN 18 Kabupaten Tangerang. Therefore, it can be concluded that there is a positive effect of the role play model on the speaking ability of students in the eleventh grade of SMAN 18 Kabupaten Tangerang.
