BTS was invited to give a speech to celebrate Korea's First Youth Day in South Korea’s Blue House, Seoul, South Korea. They were deliver their spoke in their message of their own "roller coaster" youth journey to inspire future generations in Korea. This research analyzed of Illocutionary act in BTS’s speech at The Korea’s First Youth Day 2020. The goal of this study is to analyze and identify how the illocutionary Acts used in BTS’s speech and to analyze which part of the speech that contains illocutionary Acts using the classification and theory by Searle that was used in BTS’s speech at The Korea’s First Youth Day 2020. This study is qualitative research. The data in this study were taken from the object of the study, BTS’s speech. The data were collected by reading, coding, identifying, and classifying. In analyzing the data, the researcher used illocutionary act theory by Searle (1979). The result of this study was showed that the total of Illocutionary act in BTS’s Speech is 46 utterances. There are; Illocutionary act Representative (45%), Illocutionary Expressive (25%), Illocutionary act Directives (13%), Illocutionary act Commissive (17%), and Illocutionary act Declaratives (0%). Illocutionary act Representative is the most dominant types of Illocutionary act in this speech, and Declarative are the most rarely type of Illocutionary act that use in this speech.
