The effect of guessing game to improve students’ ability in writing descriptive text at seventh grade of MTS Nurul Falah Sangiang in Academic Year 2021/2022


This aims of this study was to know whether there is a significant effect of using Guessing Game to improve students’ ability in writing descriptive text at seventh grade students of MTS Nurul Falah Sangiang. The method of the research used quantitative research and for the design of the research is QuasiExperimental research whit one group by using pre-test and post-test in experimental class. Students test was used by the writer to collect the data trough pre-test and post-test. The result of this research was statistical calculation by using Wilcoxon signed rank test, the significances of the pre-test and post-test in experimental class data is 0.000 (0.05). Statistic result of this study there was a significant effect of using Guessing Game to improve students’ ability in writing descriptive text at seventh grade students of MTS Nurul Falah Sangiang in academic year 2021/2022.
