The use of flash card to improve students’ vocabulary mastery in learning english at fifth grade of SD Islam Al Muhajir in Academic Year 2021/2022
This research describes the use of flash card media for learning vocabulary mastery and has found positive results in improvement students' vocabulary mastery. The purpose of this research to find out whether there was an improvement in vocabulary mastery at fifth grade of SD Islam Al Muhajir in Academic Year 2021/2022 after using flash cards. The sample used is 35 students. Researcher used quantitative methods with pre-experimental design one group pretest and posttest. The research was conducted using pretest, treatments and posttest. The highest pre-test score was 80.00 and post-test was 100.00. In addition, the Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test showed that Asymp Sig. 0.000 (0.000 < 0.05) which means there is a significant difference between pre-test and post-test at SD Islam Al Muhajir. So results showed that the use of Flash cards can improve students' vocabulary mastery. Learning using flash cards can make students more interested in learning. In addition, it is not easy to make students feel bored, and the learning atmosphere is more exciting.
