The effect of using animated films on students’ listening comprehension at fifth grade on SDI Baiturrachman Kota Tangerang in Academic Year 2021/2022
The goal of this research was to know the use of Animated Films in the teaching and learning system for students‟ listening comprehension in SDI Baiturrachman Kota Tangerang at fifth grade. The research method used in this study is quantitative research with the design quasi-experimental research. The research samples are 51 students of SDI Baiturrachman Kota Tangerang. Data was collected by giving pre-test and post-test. Instruments were analyzed by a validity and reliability test. Analysis of the data used normality test, homogeneity test and Wilcoxon Sign Rank Test. Hypothesis test results state that Ha was accepted and Ho was rejected. Result of the research shows that there was a significant effect of using the Animated Films on students‟ listening comprehension for fifth grade students of SDI Baiturrachman Kota Tangerang. Further research may be conducted by considering listening comprehension factors variables or other relevant variabel.
