The effect of U-Dictionary as a learning media on students’ speaking skill at the 5th grade of SDN Bojong 1 Kunciran Indah Kota Tangerang Academic Year 2020/2021
The aim of this research was to know whether there is any effect of the use of U-dictionary as a learning media on students’ speaking skill at the 5th grade of SDN Bojong 1 Kunciran Indah Kota Tangerang. This research quantitative method, 32 students as the sample which taken purposive sampling by using preexperimental research one group pretest-posttest design. Students’ test were used by the writer to collect the data. The hypotheses data was tested using formula ttest, it was known that between pre-test and post-test in speaking skill got tcount > ttable (13,794 > 2,040) with sig = 0,000 < 0,05, so it can be concluded that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. It means, there is a significant differences between pre-test and post-test using U-dictionary application at 5B of SDN Bojong 1 Kunciran Indah. So, U-dictionary application that applied by the writer can improve students’ speaking skills at 5B of SDN Bojong 1 Kunciran Indah.
